Association
of MBAs UK one of the top three global accreditation agencies, conducted
a two day India Accreditation Seminar on November 10
and 11 at New Delhi to introduce in practical terms peer to peer benchmarking
of quality with the best business schools of the world. The seminar
was conducted by a highly reputed experienced team of international
assessors with a deep insight into B-Schools quality worldwide and also
specific to Indian subcontinent. It is brought by Standards for Educational
Advancement & Accreditation Trust (SEAA Trust), quality advocacy
group for B-Schools formed by leading professionals from industry and
academia based in New Delhi. Association MBAs shared not just their accreditation process but also their plans for the Indian subcontinent which included a series of regional seminars to create awareness about international accreditation and also training of top Indian faculty as peer assessors for preparing the self assessment documents. The intention is to create a 50 to 60 member team of assessors who would help speed up the process of preparing the necessary documents on road to international accreditation. SEAA would be spearheading the effort of Association of MBAs in India as part of its committment for advocating and creating awareness about international accreditation in the country. Association of MBAs will also consider modifying their accreditation process to take into consideration local realities in the b-school arena. The specific list of takeaways is available to the members of the SEAA Educational Quality Forum. Please join the forum by downloading the on-line application form and paying a nominal fee which will help us build a knowledge repository on b-schools quality to help the community. |
