INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION WORKSHOP: FOCUS IACBE
New- Delhi - Pune
July 11 & 13' 2011

Tapping Overseas Thought Leaders for India Road map

Our twin city International Accreditation Workshop - focus IACBE (NewDelhi-Pune) was an interesting experience for the international accreditation agency which had become the third agency to get the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) approval.

How do you guide the government? "You cant move the government easily. Bureaucracy has its own mindset" a senior international accreditation expert Paul Mallette, Director of Eurasian operations of International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) says. May be Paul is right. But it is worth giving it a try! We did just that through the International Deans Meet bringing together several Indian origin deans to meet together along with other international peers to discuss India at an international destination, Indianapolis USA on June 26. The meet was conducted as part of the international accreditation agency, ACBSP of USA's annual conference at the Circle City, famous for its Formula1 Racing track and NASCAR races. The SEAA Trust meet, the first one conducted overseas, was a runaway success with a large participation from the Indian deans who wanted to share their opion as to what the government can do to make Indian business education more free and aligned iwth the world.
