International Accreditation Institutions - IACBE, USA

The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) is a premier professional accrediting organization for business programs in student-centered colleges and universities throughout the world. It was founded in 1997 in Kansas City.

The IACBE accredits business programs that lead to degrees at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels in institutions of higher education worldwide that grant bachelor’s and/or graduate degrees.

The IACBE does not accredit business programs of institutions of higher education that offer only associate degrees in business (or pre-degree) courses.

Since that time, the IACBE has grown into the premier professional accreditation body for student-centered colleges and universities, with well over 200 members in the United States and throughout the world. The IACBE’s accreditation principles are designed to promote and stimulate excellence in business education, and each accreditation principle is linked to one or more characteristics of excellence in business education.

IACBE University

The IACBE is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring and hosting the first annual IACBE University during the week of June 13-17, 2011. The week-long University will offer courses in various aspects of the IACBE’s accreditation process and excellence in business education. There will be a two-day seminar for business deans and chairs, along with other sessions dealing with the IACBE’s process of quality assurance. more
